We’re asking the youth theatre sector across the country to get involved with YouthLink Scotland‘s Youth Work Week theme for 2025: A Right, A Space, A Future. 

From Monday 3 to Sunday 9 November, gear up your social media with the hashtags #YWW25 and #RightSpaceFuture and help to support the asks we’re making in relation to Access to Spaces for Youth Work in the upcoming Youth Work Manifesto. 

We know some youth theatres might not consider themselves to be part of the youth work sector (we do!), but this theme will resonate with members who might be encountering difficulties with ensuring fair local agreements for third sector use of public infrastructure. This includes access to public buildings (eg. school estates, leisure facilities, community venues) for third sector and youth work providers; creating secure, visible, and accessible youth work spaces in all communities; and establishing a national programme of capital investment in dedicated youth spaces, especially in areas of multiple deprivation.
