It’s almost time for the People’s Postcode Trust‘s final grant round of 2026! With a relatively short application window of 24 September – 1 October, now is the best time to begin your preparations, with advice from our Fundraising Consultant, Phyllis Martin from Truffle Pig.
This bid clinic is for any organisation planning to apply to the fund. You can come ready with a draft application, or just with some ideas, and Phyllis will talk through each of the questions on the form, with time for discussion.
The fund is open to charities and CICs whose main aims and objectives fit with one of the below…
- Enabling participation in the arts: organisations whose core work helps people overcome specific barriers to accessing the arts.
- Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty: organisations that support people at risk of or living in poverty.
- Supporting marginalised groups and/or tackling inequality: organisations whose primary purpose is to support specific marginalised communities to fully participate in social, economic, political, or cultural life.
- Improving mental health: organisations that support people experiencing mental ill-health, rather than general mental wellbeing. More details here.
While YTAS have no influence over the outcome of the fund itself, Phyllis’ 20 years’ experience in the trenches of arts, youth, and community sector fundraising perfectly equips her to offer practical, realistic guidance.
