Salary: £19,000 pa pro rata for a 21 hrs week = £11,400 pa

Responsible for the management, delivery and development of children’s and young people’s work at the Theatre Royal Dumfries (est. 1792). They are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join the small paid staff team, working alongside our Board, Theatre Director and our dedicated volunteers.

The Education & Youth Engagement Officer (E.Y.E.) will be responsible for the management, delivery, and development of children’s and young people’s work at the Theatre Royal Dumfries – Scotland’s oldest working theatre.

Working to the Guild of Players’ Education Policy, the EYE will be responsible for building relationships with D&G colleges, community groups and schools and delivering education outreach activities to help improve the learning opportunities provided by the theatre. The EYE will also be responsible for the organisation of the Guild of Players Youth Theatre, delivering and supervising workshops, and working on Guild of Players Youth Theatre productions.
