Lyceum Youth Theatre (LYT) offer classes a range of classes; LYT Play (ages 5-7), LYT Mini’s (ages 8-10), LYT Juniors (ages 11-13) and LYT Seniors (ages 14-18). Booking for summer term opens the week commencing 1 April 2024.

The term runs alongside the Edinburgh school term and vary from 9 – 12 weeks with a total Lyceum Youth Theatre academic year consisting of 31 weeks. The Summer Term will be running from the 22 April – 22 June 2024.

Lyceum Youth Theatre (LYT) strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all their members. Their sessions help participants to develop self-confidence, performance skills and diverse theatrical knowledge with further support about education and future career pathways. Each session challenges members to become strong performers whilst providing a fun and creative community to be part of.

All LYT Sessions take place in their Creative Learning Space in 30b Grindlay Street.

Bursaries: At The Lyceum, they believe that cost shouldn’t be a barrier to theatre and therefore have a bursary scheme for members who may face financial barriers when accessing Youth Theatre. To find out if you could be eligible for support, please email them at LYT@lyceum.org.uk.
