A Midsummer Day’s Dream

Wilkies Wood
The Park Ecovillage, Findhorn, Moray
£10 | £8 concession

A reimagined version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at 5pm on Sat 8 & Sun 9 June 2024 which will take place at a wooded area within The Park Ecovillage, Findhorn.

Revised by participants of our Spring 2024 Theatre Questers, this Shakespeare classic will be delivered with modern environmentally-aware twists and a new title: A Midsummer Day’s Dream.

Athens, the setting of the play, has been covered in plastic. What’s more, the faeries from the forest have been corrupted by human culture, developing smartphone addictions.

The cast will be made up of local children (aged 10+) and adults. The show has been directed by Theatre of the 7 Directions‘ Founder & Artistic Director Laura Pasetti, who has toured her shows around Italy and Scotland.

Because of the show’s location, audiences are limited to 45 each evening. For this reason, all bookings must be made in advance.

Discretionary concession tickets are £8 and full price tickets are £10, with an option to donate more to further support Theatre of the 7 Directions.
