Junior Conservatoire School of Stage and Screen are looking for Part Time Lecturers in:
– Musical Theatre
– Acting
– Production
Part-time, Fixed-Term (12 months)
£40.70 per hour (£45.61 ph incl Holiday Pay)
They are looking to appoint a number of experienced and passionate lecturers who specialise in tuition in one of the following:
• Musical Theatre
• Acting
• Production
You will teach students as part of the Junior Conservatoire School of Stage and Screen. Each course runs weekly from August to June for highly motivated and driven young people, aged 7 – 18 years, keen to further their skills in their specialist area.
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Junior Conservatoire is committed to widening access and opportunities for children and young people across Scotland, implementing successful initiatives aimed at increasing participation by young people from under-represented groups.
They are seeking staff who are highly motivated, dynamic and someone who thrives in a demanding, intense yet passionate educational environment. They must have relevant professional experience as a performer and teacher, excellent communication skills and be passionate about developing young people’s potential, along with knowledge and experience of arts education.
This post will involve approx 34 weeks days/ weekends of teaching in each academic session.
