Paul Hamlyn Foundation: Teacher Development Fund

Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Teacher Development Fund supports partnerships between arts organisations and groups of 6–10 primary schools, working together to embed arts-based approaches in classrooms. The next round opens 27 August 2025 and grants of up to £165k are available.

Through the Teacher Development Fund, PHF supports primary schools and arts organisations to work in partnership – bringing creativity into classrooms and helping every child to learn and thrive.

Grants of up to £165,000 will be available for partnerships between arts organisations and groups of 6–10 primary schools. Over two academic years, funded projects will:

• Equip teachers to use arts-based approaches in the primary classroom
• Embed rich, arts-based approaches across the curriculum
• Support pupils to overcome barriers to learning
• Share their learning as part of a UK-wide community of practice

The next round opens 27 August 2025.
