It’s been a year since our visit to Fife for our Regional Hub event and we’d love to check back in! Join the YTAS team on Friday 27 November from 12-2pm at Fife College’s Kirkcaldy Campus for our first ever Regional Connections event.

But what’s the difference between Regional Hubs and Regional Connections? In short, Regional Hubs are multi-day events which aim to build stronger working relationships across the youth theatre sector within regions. Regional Connections are two-hour facilitated networking sessions designed to complement them, hosted by YTAS, who’ll lead practical exercises to spark conversations.

Don’t worry… this is not networking drinks, speed dating, or interviews. These events are designed to be a fun, informal and inclusive way to help youth theatre people meet other youth theatre people, and are specifically designed for people who hate networking. They are also a chance for practitioners and organisations to speak directly to YTAS to request support, help us identify gaps and our provision, and to better advocate for all of you.

Regional Connections are intended for everyone who uses drama and theatre in their work with young people within a geographical area. This could include youth theatre leaders, drama teachers, youth workers, community learning professionals, theatre practitioners, students, and emerging young leaders (aged 16+). You don’t need to have attended the Regional Hub to join us for a Regional Connections event.
