On 16 March 2020 we took the decision to postpone the National Convention of Youth Drama on Friday 20 March.

We had been actively monitoring the situation relating to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The health and safety of all was at the forefront of our minds, and therefore we felt that it was an unnecessary risk to assemble a large group of people together, asking them to travel from far and wide to get to Glasgow under difficult circumstances.

We also felt the timing wasn’t right to focus on the topics of the day and give the subject the serious consideration it deserved, and planned to return reschedule the event later in 2020 or 2021.
