Creative Art Business Network (CABN) has invited Door In The Wall to present a workshop to disabled or neurodivergent artists and performers about Access Riders.
Considered the most inclusive way to provide genuine access for artists and performers to advocate for themselves when approaching freelance work, we look at articulating your access needs, presenting them clearly and for organisations – how to invite and respond to an access rider.
Access Riders, also called Access Documents, are documents that outline your access needs. They are designed to be given to organisations that you are working with to let them know what you need them to do to ensure you have equal access to work.
Door in the Wall Arts Access CIC is a disabled-led social enterprise that works for a more inclusive creative sector in Scotland. They support organisations to work more inclusively, and empower disabled and neurodivergent artists and creatives to advocate for themselves and others.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential. Priority will be given to neurodivergent and disabled artists. To book email hello@cabn.info.
