Short Courses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are excited to bring you this new course for 2025.

This course provides an introduction to the Meisner acting technique. Developed by American actor Sanford Meisner, the technique is built around three tenets; emotional preparation, repetition and improvisation.

Students will engage in practical exercises, exercises to be prepared at home, and scene work.

Delivered by Scottish actor and director Sally Reid, you will immerse yourself in this fascinating technique over the ten-week course.
