Working with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Edinburgh Playhouse’s Creative Learning team are hosting training on storytelling and drama toolkits focused around Matilda The Musical. Artists will get the chance to explore specialist drama activities, creative writing tasks, and storytelling for young people. Network with other likeminded artists as well as Edinburgh Playhouse’s Creative Learning team, who are co-delivering the training day and a further outreach project aligned with Matilda The Musical.

These specific storytelling and workshop skills developed by the artists to help deliver key learning outcomes for the Change My Story project with the RSC and Matilda. Change My Story is a community based storytelling project in local communities, libraries and the Playhouse itself, who will be seeking new freelance artists to work on this project.

The Playhouse team have very kindly opened this event up to YTAS members only.
