Interested in making work happen? Arts Leadership and Fundraising will give you the skills and confidence to bring projects to life; to find your leadership style and to be assured in navigating the complexities of fundraising and finance. Arts Leadership and Fundraising is designed to examine leadership theory in practice through the arts. The content will focus on current arts practice in leadership and management theory; administration; budgeting; writing funding applications; and business planning.

Learning Outcomes
* Identify and apply a range of practices, concepts and knowledges of the topic of study within the context of professional development;
* Reflect on the impact of a range of practices, concepts and knowledges of the topic of study on your own professional development.

Assessment
Assessment 1: Presentation of Practice
Pass/Fail

Presentation of Practice to be determined in line with the topic of study.

Presentation of Practice – Funding Application

Assessment 2: Reflective Statement
Pass/Fail

You are required to provide a 500-word or 3.5-minute critical reflection in respect of your professional development and the impact studying this topic has had on your ongoing progress in written or audiovisual form.

Credits
This course is worth 10 credits at SCQF Level 8.
