The Tron Theatre is welcoming the award-winning ThickSkin for a three day residency in September focusing on movement, physical theatre and devising.
This residency will take place from 10.30am – 5.30pm from 7 – 9 September 2023 in the Tron Theatre’s Changing House. Participants must be available for all three days.
An award-winning theatre company based in Wigan, ThickSkin is reinventing theatre for the next generation. They are developing multi-disciplined artists of the future for a hybrid world where physical and digital collide in more ways than ever before.
This residency is designed and led by ThickSkin’s Founder and Artistic Director, Neil Bettles (How Not To Drown, Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Private Peaceful), accompanied by Amy Kennedy. Created to offer artists with an interest in movement, physical theatre and devising an insight to ThickSkin’s practice, this three day residency will be active and collaborative, uncovering ThickSkin’s ethos and digging deeper into the company’s way of working.
