Easter Holiday Projects

Venue: Out of the Blue Drill Hall, Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh
Prices: £75

Create and perform your own play in two days this Easter! Strange Town’s Holiday Camps booking is now open for 8-10s and 11-14s. The theme this year? Treachery! Careful what you say – there’s a traitor among us! Maybe a mafia member hiding in plain sight, a secret agent looking to steal our secrets or something else entirely. You decide!

Create your own devious play of mystery in just two days this Easter. You don’t need to have ever done drama before; you just need a keen enthusiasm to create! Led by two experienced youth theatre practitioners, the young groups will be guided in every step of creating a play from beginning to end, all the way from choosing the setting, devising the plot and creating characters to bringing all of that to life in a live performance to friends and family at the end of the project.

There are two different projects for ages 8-10 and 11-14, each running for two full days from 9am-4pm:

8-10s: Mon 3 & Tue 4 April 2023
11-14s: Wed 5 & Thu 6 April 2023

Both projects take place in the Rehearsal Room at Out of the Blue Drill Hall, Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh (just off Leith Walk).

The cost of the project is £75 per participant. Discounted and free places are available through our access fund. To sign-up, please contact james@strangetown.org.uk
