This event is a launch of their research report, assessing the needs of emerging theatre-makers in the Highlands. This is about the future of emerging theatre-makers in the Highlands, the future of Highland theatre, and the future of the theatre industry.

The launch event will host: discussions about the report’s priorities, statements by emerging theatre-makers about the importance of this research, and space for proposing change.

If you are a stakeholder in Scotland’s theatre industry (such as: venues, council and government, funding bodies, and arts providers), and you have a particular interest in the needs of emerging theatre-makers in and beyond the Highlands, they invite you to join us in conversation about the findings of our report.

You will be sent the report two weeks before the event to consolidate your own reflections; conversations from the launch event will be included in a final draft of the report which will be published on the Vivid Roots website.

To attend the event, please send an email with a brief note of interest explaining what kind or organisation you represent, and why you are interested in the research. The event is free to attend and travel bursaries are available for those travelling from outside of Inverness. If you would like to access the bursary, please indicate this in your email.
