Triple Act is offering a unique five day course to discover the diversity of Scottish Stories through Theatre, Music & the Gaelic language. 2022 has been designated as the Scottish Year of Stories and Triple Act Theatre & Arts are joining in with the fun! This will be a year in which stories inspired by, created, or written in Scotland will be showcased and celebrated.
Triple Act is offering a unique five day Gaelic Arts course, based in North Ayrshire, led by professional theatre makers, and giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself & discover the diversity of Scottish Stories through Theatre, Music and the Gaelic language.
Throughout the week you will focus on the creation of a short performance piece based upon a Scottish tale, merging both English & Gaelic together to produce an exciting display of work celebrating Scottish culture.
Alongside creating a new & vibrant piece of theatre, you will collaborate with a mix of local artists and Gaelic speakers, taking part in a drama exercises including movement, storytelling, music and developing your Gaelic language skills.
Come along to find out if you could be fighting the mythical ‘Dragon of Stoorworm’, flying high with ‘The Faeries of Scotland’, or swimming the stormy seas with ‘The Fisherman and The Merman’. If you love performing, music, drama and learning something new, this is the Summer Programme for you.
