Since SPRINGBOARD 2023, Creative Carbon Scotland have been developing a Green Arts Charter with a cohort of cultural organisations across Scotland. They plan to launch it in November and would like to gather your thoughts and feedback now so they can understand how it sits with you and make relevant changes.
What is the charter for?
This charter is a unifying tool for members of the Green Arts Initiative, but also a way to build partnerships and connection and get us to collectively think about the way we work. They want this charter to be a starting point for collaboration, and for organisations to understand where to begin or continue their journey. There are four core commitments, an assessment and then a list of actions for organisations to choose from based on their needs and priorities.
What’s the purpose of the workshop?
This workshop is to provide feedback on what we have done so far, and to feed into the process moving forward.
When is the workshop?
The workshop is being held online on Wed 12 July 2023, 1.30pm-3pm.
What else?
As well as this, they would like to encourage small local meet ups to network and discuss the charter. If you are interested in participating in this, please email sarah.ohare@creativecarbonscotland.com and they will connect you with others.
Accessibility
They want to remove barriers to participation in these events and are happy to make adjustments to prevent people from being excluded. Please inform us of accessibility requirements during the registration process or get in touch by email if you would like to provide more information or ask any questions.
