Join Creative Carbon Scotland and Ocean Generation for an online event on Tue 5 December 2023, 3pm – 5pm, exploring issues facing our oceans and how the performing arts can take action.
Created in collaboration between Creative Carbon Scotland and Ocean Generation, the Green Tease will aim to help us understand the threats facing our oceans and explore how the performing arts in Scotland can help take action on these.
Ocean Generation works to empower an inclusive global movement to tackle Ocean threats through science and storytelling. The event is aimed at younger generations, but everyone is welcome.
The event is a part of Ocean Generation’s Deep Currents workshops, which sits within their Wavemaker programme, where they aim to empower people to make a difference to our ocean using their own skills and values. This particular workshop will focus on how people can take ocean action within the performing arts – whether that be as someone who attends performing arts events, or someone who works in that sector. This workshop is also open to those interested in ocean threats more generally.
Accessibility
Everyone is welcome at their events. They know that it’s sometimes difficult for everyone to attend because of unintended barriers. They want to make any necessary adjustments to our events so that no one is excluded. These adjustments will, most likely, differ from event-to-event and person-to-person, so they need your help to get it right. Please inform them of your accessibility requirements for this event during the Eventbrite registration process or get in touch by emailing maja.rimer@creativecarbonscotland.com if you would like to provide more information or ask any questions.
