LGBTQ+ Performing Arts Networking Event

Venue: Rockvilla, 125 Craighall Road, Glasgow, G4 9TL
Prices: Free

A LGBTQ+ networking event, open to all LGBTQ+ community members working within organisations and/or as freelancers in the performing arts.

This event will be hosted by the National Theatre of Scotland and follows on from the previous networking event held at Rockvilla last year, and previously by Edinburgh International Festival and Scottish Ballet.

Everyone is welcome whether you have attended a previous event or not.

The event will prompt discussions about working in the performing arts from a LGBTQ+ perspective, followed by a lunch provided by NTS and an opportunity to network.

Date & Time: Mon 17 February 2025, 10am – 2pm

Location: Rockvilla, 125 Craighall Road, Glasgow, G4 9TL

Access

The event will have BSL interpretation.

Rockvilla is fully wheelchair accessible.

There are two quiet spaces within Rockvilla, which will be pointed out to everyone on the 10.15am tour of the building.

You can find the visual guide for Rockvilla here.

If you would like to attend, please fill out the short sign-up form ASAP. There are a limited amount of spaces, and last year the event reached capacity very quickly with a large waiting list, so please sign-up promptly to avoid disappointment.

You will be prompted to provide access needs when filling out the form; however, please get in touch if you need the above form in an alternative format or require support to fill it out.

If you have any questions or need any support, please get in touch with Nelly Kelly at nellykellywrites@gmail.com (cc’ing in their support worker –accesstoworkfornelly@gmail.com), who is coordinating the event.
