It is a universally accepted truth that ‘all drama is based around conflict’ so join these four workshops exploring anger, ‘what makes us angry?’ and how can we use that to create stage work?
Work with writer/director Clare Prenton over four weeks to create new, short monologues/duologues exploring things that make us angry today. On the ‘better-out-than-in’ principal, they’ll look at the cathartic benefits of exploring anger and the complex and wide range of topics – social, political, familial, personal.
No experience is necessary – so come and act, direct, write, do all three or, if you’d like to be part of the conversation, simply join us.
• Four Mondays from 7pm – 8.30pm at Heart of Hawick from 11 September to 2 October 2023.
• This workshop has been subsidised so costs £15 for the four workshops.
• Age 18+
