Lyceum Teacher’s Evening

Venue: Grindlay Street, Edinburgh, EH3 9AX
Prices: Free

Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh are inviting secondary teachers of Drama and Expressive Arts to an evening with their Creative Learning Department to hear about the 2024/25 season schools programme.

At The Lyceum, community is at the heart of what they do. This teachers event is an opportunity to connect and begin a journey toward working more closely together to create the best, and most useful learning opportunities linked to their productions.

This Autumn, they are inviting secondary teachers of Arts and Humanities (particularly Drama and Expressive Arts) to an evening with their Creative Learning Department where you’ll hear about their programme of workshops, resources and CPD opportunities on offer to support you and your students in their Theatre explorations, specifically around the Lyceum’s productions of A Streetcar Named Desire and The Merchant of Venice. There will also be a short taster of workshop content, and the chance to tell them what you want to see from their programme.

The event will take place on Fri 25 October 2024, 5.30pm – 7pm, and light refreshments will be provided. All attendees will also receive a complimentary ticket to the 7.30pm evening performance of A Streetcar Named Desire after the event.

This event is free but ticketed. Reserve your place by calling Box Office on 0131 248 4848, making sure you give the names of staff attending and the school you teach at.

To allow them to connect with as many learning settings as possible, they are only able to offer a maximum of two spaces per school.
