Are you a budding performer or thespian? Join Macrobert Young Theatre Company in these free taster sessions, to get a taste of what it’s like to take part. Macrobert Young Theatre Company (MYTC) is a fantastic opportunity to work with professional drama artist, Daniel Livingston.

Each session will focus on a different aspect of theatre, with no requirement to attend all sessions, just book in to whatever session interests you.

11am – 12.30pm Script Work (90 mins)

Come and try out your acting and directing skills while using Scripts from Classic to the contempory

1pm – 2.30pm Devising (90 mins)

Fancy baing a theatre maker and making new theatrical work? then come along and try out ideas and learn new devising tools.

3pm – 4.30pm Physical Theatre (90 mins)

Fancy playing with theatrical design? then come along and make miniture set inspirded from scipts and stories.

MYTC are an ambitious theatre group who are often involved in projects like National Theatre Connections, a nationwide celebration of new plays for young people age 16-25.

Please note, if you wish to attend the full day, please bring plenty of water and a packed lunch. Please arrive at the Upper Foyer within Macrobert Arts Centre, outside the Mainhouse ahead of the workshop beginning.
