Mental Health First Aid Check In

Venue: Online
Prices: Free

This session has been set up to discuss the practicalities of putting your Mental Health First Aid or SAMH qualification to use in the workplace and what support might be useful. This event will take place online via Zoom on Mon 30 January 2023, 3pm- 4.30pm.

This session will be facilitated by Fiona McCurdy, the Professional Development Manager at FST and we will also hear from Sarah Shimmen from Work Better Wellbeing, who has run all of the Mental Health First Aid and SAMH courses for FST.

Who is the session aimed at?
This Session is aimed at those who have undertaken the Mental Health First Aid or SAMH qualifications with FST. During this session we will discuss the practicalities of using your Mental Health First Aid or SAMH qualification in the workplace.

They are aware that due to Covid, there may have been a large gap between taking the course and coming back to the work place to put it into practice, so FST wanted to run this session to share notes with those who have put the training to use and also ascertain what support is needed for those who are struggling to get off the ground. There will be time throughout the session for any questions you might have.
