Write for Stage, Screen and Audio
How do you create scenes, populate them with characters and tell a story? Through the week, you will explore the essentials of writing a gripping drama: how to playfully create scenes, develop and understand the motivations and ambitions of your characters, and set them into a well-structured story. Sebastian and Sarah’s work spans stage, screen and audio, and they will offer insights into all of these areas. You will also look for inspiration in examples of traditional and modern storytelling. Sebastian and Sarah will help you apply what you learn into your craft, whether that is playwriting, screenwriting or writing for audio.

This course is suited for writers at all stages, from those writing their first script to established writers looking to expand their work into new areas.

If you want to truly immerse yourself in creating a character for audio drama, you can also attend Sebastian’s online masterclass ahead of this course. Both can be taken on their own or together for a deep dive into character development.

If you are interested in attending both this residential course and the online Masterclass, get in touch with them at info@moniackmhor.org.uk for a small discount off your residential place.
