Summer Schools at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS). Choose from Drama, Music, Film, Musical Theatre, Production, Stage Combat and more for all ages from 29 June – 21 August 2026.
Each summer RCS welcome students from across the world for a varied programme that has something for everyone and covers dance, drama, musical theatre, music, film and production.
They courses are aimed at both beginners who want to experience their first taste of the performance and production arts, and experienced students who want to further develop their skills.
Whether you are new to acting or have been treading the boards for years; maybe you have a young person who is always singing and ready to take centre stage; or perhaps you’d like to return to an old passion and revisit your musical instrument – there is something for everyone.

All places on courses are on a first-come, first-serve basis and most courses are open-access with no need to audition.
To ensure students fully benefit from their time with us and are studying at the correct level for their ability, some courses require evidence to be submitted at the time of booking which is reviewed by staff before offering a place. Full details of entry requirements are available on course webpages.
Courses can be paid in full or in instalments before the course start date. Bursary and Scholarships are also available to students who find themselves in financial hardship.
