Come along and get the chance to dance and sing on the Edinburgh Playhouse stage.

In July Edinburgh Playhouse are hosting workshops for musical theatre enthusiasts. Each day they will focus on a different musical where you will get the chance to sing and dance and and learn key skills and musical theatre techniques.. These classes are held by our musical theatre duo of dance artist Jo Richards & voice artist Hannah Ferrier-Baker.

TEENS • 12pm – 4.30pm
– Mon 28 July 2025 – 8-10 years old
– Tue 29 July 2025 – 11-18 years old
– Wed 30 July 2025 – 11-18 years old

Cost: £22.50 (Half price payment plans and bursaries are available)

Jo Richards has been an established Dance Teacher and Choreographer since 2005 and continues her work in Edinburgh and beyond. Working on community and professional projects she has a real passion for bringing out the best in everyone in a joyful, relaxed environment where embracing your unique self is thoroughly encouraged. Jo runs workshops throughout the year and can be found teaching weekly classes at Dance Base National Centre for Dance.

Hannah Ferrier-Baker has worked professionally as a performer and teacher non-stop for the last 18 years and most recently has worked for SJM Creative, Edinburgh Acting School, Stagecoach Edinburgh, Fischy Music and more. She spent the last five years running her own theatre school and is now happy to be back to teaching and working with over 500 enthusiastic faces each week.

This is a Creative Learning event. Tickets for Creative Learning events are non-transferable and non-refundable.
