Are you a young person and have always wanted to perform on the Edinburgh Playhouse stage? Then come along to their new musical theatre class for young people aged 14-18 on Fri 6 September 2024.

This class will be run by Jo Richards who will teach an hour of dance and Hannah Ferrier-Baker who will teach an hour of songs from the shows. Then participants will get the chance to bring them all together and perform on stage.

Jo Richards has been an established Dance Teacher and Choreographer since 2005 and continues her work in Edinburgh and beyond. Working on community and professional projects she has a real passion for bringing out the best in everyone in a joyful, relaxed environment where embracing your unique self is thoroughly encouraged. Jo runs workshops throughout the year and can be found teaching weekly classes at Dance Base National Centre for Dance.

Hannah Ferrier-Baker has worked professionally as a performer and teacher for the last 18 years and most recently has worked for SJM Creative, Edinburgh Acting School, Stagecoach Edinburgh, Fischy Music and more. She spent the last five years running her own theatre school, but is now happy to be back to teaching, and working with over 500 enthusiastic faces each week.
