Have you ever wanted to perform on the Edinburgh Playhouse stage? Then come along to the trial sessions of their new musical theatre class, Musical Makers.

They are testing out a new class for musical theatre lovers so if you love to dance and sing to your favourite hits from the likes of Six, Wicked or a Disney classic and get the chance to dance and sing to these on their stage, then this class is for you.

This class will be run by Jo Richards who will teach an hour of dance and Hannah Ferrier-Baker who will teach an hour of songs from the shows.

Jo Richards has been an established Dance Teacher and Choreographer since 2005 and continues her work in Edinburgh and beyond. Working on community and professional projects she has a real passion for bringing out the best in everyone in a joyful, relaxed environment where embracing your unique self is thoroughly encouraged. Jo runs workshops throughout the year and can be found teaching weekly classes at Dance Base.

Hannah Ferrier-Baker has worked professionally as a performer and teacher non-stop for the last 18 years and most recently has worked for SJM Creative, Edinburgh Acting School, Stagecoach Edinburgh, Fischy Music and more. She spent the last five years running her own theatre school, but is now happy to be back to teaching, and working with over 500 enthusiastic faces each week.

Open to age 18+ on Monday nights 6pm – 8.15pm • £12.50 per session.
