Next Generation Lets Get Started

Calling all early career youth theatre practitioners! Come join our network, meet your peers and learn about the exciting training opportunities YTAS has designed specifically for you in 2024.

You ask, we deliver! After a year of Workshop Assistant Exchanges where we worked with 25 young artists at the beginning of their careers as arts leaders and directors, YTAS have designed an exciting new programme of training, networking and work experience for those just starting out in our sector. This event is relevant to you if you are:

  • Under 25
  • Want to start a career in youth theatre
  • Have assisted in the delivery of workshops or started to deliver on your own
  • Engage regularly with a youth theatre local to you (or would like to!)
  • Are interested in developing your skills in facilitation, lesson planning, youth work essentials, and more!

In this first session, we will be telling you about the upcoming opportunities in 2024, sharing a few simple exercises and giving you the chance to ask questions and meet the group. If you have any questions about the event feel free to get in touch with emma@ytas.org.uk directly.
