Working with young people every day, we hope to represent their thoughts and ideas accurately within our organisations. But how can we ensure this is an authentic relationship?

In this Swap Shop, join the sector to discuss how to work with youth voice in communications, planning, and strategy. This Swap Shop is an open space to consider how to create social media campaigns, share youth ideas with your board, or consult young people in programming.

This session will focus on sharing practice to ensure that your youth theatre is championing young voices. Come along prepared to share your successes, challenges, tips and ideas.

The YTAS sector training programme is supported by funding from the Gannochy Trust and Creative Scotland.

Who is it for?

Managers: For those of you who are running everything from behind the scenes. Training that is for ‘managers’ may include opportunities for other office-based staff.

About the trainer

This is a Swap Shop! YTAS will act as host, but the space is for you to come together share practice and swap practical ideas on a given topic.

Bursaries

We at YTAS are aware of the current financial struggles that the sector is facing. We would like to remind you that bursaries are available to any YTAS Member who requires financial support in order to attend one of our training courses, and will cover any fees associated with the training.
