Performance Collective Stranraer is looking for creatives aged 16-30, with a connection to Dumfries and Galloway or Ayrshire, to join their paid Cultivate Inclusion training weekends.
They’re teaming up with our partner, Paragon, to run three residential weekends to grow their knowledge around creating with inclusive practices. They’ll explore ableism, autism, mental health, diversity, disability and community, and reevaluate how we create new work integrating these accessible practices. The weekend will have discussion-based learning in the mornings followed by on-our-feet, practical applications of these skills in the afternoons. All backgrounds, levels of experience, and abilities are welcome. Find out more about Paragon at https://www.paragon-music.org/.
You can attend one, two or all training weekends. These sessions will run from 10am-6pm:
• 5 – 6 November 2022 Stranraer
• 12 – 13 November 2022 Glasgow
• 19 – 20 November 2022 Kirkcudbright
You will be paid £75 per day for all three weekends. They will cover the cost for your subsistence, accommodation on the Saturday night if not local, and your travel.
Please submit 200 words or a two minute video on why you’d like to be part of this training and what you hope to gain from the experience to Artistic Director, Sarah Rose Graber: sarahrose@performancecollectivestranraer.com
