Live Borders Arts & Creativity

Performing Arts Creative Meet-Up at Heart of Hawick

Venue: 2 Kirkstile, Hawick, TD9 0AE
Prices: Free

Join Live Borders Arts & Creativity, CABN, Made in the Borders and Firebrand Theatre Company for a special meet-up focussing on the performing arts.

Come along and hear the latest from CABN on their Manifesto, their new membership drive and commitment to supporting the performing arts in the region.

Also hear from theatre maker Clare Prenton from Made in the Borders, a collective of theatre artists creating quality, performing arts work who will talk about her work in building capacity in the sector.

Ellie Zeegan from Firebrand will be there to introduce their new play Ungetatable at Heart of Hawick that evening and Firebrand’s plans for 2026.

Finally, the team from Live Borders Arts & Creativity will be there to highlight their next theatre performances and workshop.

Most importantly they want to hear from you and your creative plans for 2026 and how we can support each other to make things happen. The focus of this event is on the performing arts but it’s open to all local creatives working or participating in the creative sector.

After the meeting join them on the Heart of Hawick mezzanine for more networking and ideas exchange, then for a performed reading of Firebrand’s new play Ungetatable at 7.30pm. Tickets for the play are £12.50 from the Live Borders website.

This is a free event – please RSVP via email artservice@liveborders.org.uk.
