Stuck on a particular character, catalyst or conclusion? Needing some inspiration to unpick your own world?
During this free masterclass for aspiring young playwrights based in Glasgow and the West of Scotland, award-winning playwright and screenwriter James Ley will guide participants through practical playwrighting techniques; how to embrace your absurd ideas and discover exciting ways to bring new stories to life.
20 young aspiring playwrights will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with James, peel back the layers of his creative process and get advice on building a career in the theatre industry. If you have a passion for making theatre and learning how to successfully shape a play, this workshop is for you. It will take place from 10am – 5pm, Sun 21 April 2024 at Townhead Village Hall in Glasgow.
