The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) are offering a free Open Workshop in Contemporary Performance Practice on Sat 29 April 2023, 12 noon – 2pm.
This taster session is for anyone who is curious about making and devising their own performance work in a range of art forms including theatre, movement, sound and visual arts. The session will be playful, relaxed and a lot of fun! If you’re 15 years plus (no upper age limit) come and try it out.
The workshop is supported by Scottish Youth Theatre, a young theatre makers’ development organisation. The session will be led by Vania Gala, Head of Contemporary Performance Practice at RCS, and supported by Louise Brown from Fair Access.
At RCS, Contemporary Performance Practice brings together performance-makers, educators, advocates and active citizens who challenge norms, break down barriers and aspire to transform the world around them. It’s a programme for the curious and creative, who want to become collaborative and socially engaged artists. Scottish Youth Theatre supports young artists to reach their full creative potential and aspire to courses like Contemporary Performance Practice.
