Culture for Climate Scotland

Starting Point: Culture and Climate Action

Venue: Online
Price: Free

This monthly online workshop introduces artists and cultural organisations to environmental action and climate justice, and approaches including mitigation, adaptation and influence.

They will give you a background to Culture for Climate Scotland and show you how to take your first steps to tackle your carbon emissions, adapt to the impacts of climate change and use your influence towards audiences and communities.

They demonstrate some examples of creative climate action through their case studies, and there is also an opportunity to ask them any questions you may have about starting your sustainability journey.

This session is helpful to those new to culture and climate action, and for those wanting to apply for funding that requires applicants to demonstrate their environmental commitments.

The workshop will take place on Zoom on the following dates:

– Wed 29 July 2026, 10am-11am
– Thu 27 August 2026, 2pm-3pm
– Tue 29 September 2026, 12pm-1pm
