Starting Point is a monthly online workshop introducing artists and cultural organisations to environmental action and climate justice, mitigation, adaptation and using their influence.
They will give you a background to Creative Carbon Scotland and show you how to take your first steps to tackle your carbon emissions, adapt to the impacts of climate change and use your influence towards audiences and communities.
They will demonstrate some examples of creative climate action through our case studies, and there will also be an opportunity to ask us any questions you may have about starting your sustainability journey.
These sessions will be helpful to those new to culture and climate action, and for those wanting to apply for Creative Scotland’s Open Fund and Multi-Year Funding Programme that requires applicants to demonstrate their environmental commitments. The content of all Starting Point workshops will be the same.
The workshops will take place on Zoom. They want to remove barriers to participation in these events and are happy to make adjustments to prevent people from being excluded. Please inform them of accessibility requirements during the registration process or get in touch by email sarah.ohare@creativecarbonscotland.com if you would like to provide more information or ask any questions.
Workshops will take place from 1pm – 2pm on:
– 21 September 2023
– 20 October 2023
– 22 November 2023
and are free to attend.
