Find out how new technologies can help manage environmental impact. Hear from Julie’s Bicycle, 59 Productions, practitioners and producers who are using hybrid approaches and tech to think differently.
This webinar on Tue 27 February 2024, 11am – 12.30pm, is aimed at performance and arts organisations and individual artists interested in managing environmental impact and encouraging sustainable activity.
They know theatre and performance makers are concerned about the climate, climate justice and changes to our environment. Whether that’s production practices or the choice of stories to tell, there’s a desire to ‘do something’.
We’ll hear from Julie’s Bicycle, 59 Productions, practitioners and producers who are taking more sustainable approaches, whether that’s hybrid touring models, use of new technologies, or simply knowing where to look to start making changes.
We’ll cover:
* How might we make theatre more sustainably, and what role can digital play?
* Can we compare or measure the impact of various approaches?
* What can we learn from our community, and what does current best practice look like?
* What are some of the actions we might take?
The webinar lasts 90 minutes and will take place on Zoom. There will be a live captioner throughout.
