Join Articulate Cultural Trust for a two-day creative assembly that shows how the arts and culture are important for care-experienced young people. Work with them to build a campaign that ensures Article 31 is upheld.
Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child states that every child has the right to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child, and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.
The event will be led by Articulate’s Young Changemakers. This opportunity is for anyone who is interested in learning how positive the arts can be in supporting young people to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
The programme includes:
– Creative workshops
– Discussions and debate
– Tours and exhibitions
There will be training elements on trauma, inclusivity and quality provision.
