An open meeting for local writers, poets, performers, artists, musicians and creatives concerned about the nature and climate crises.

Are you a local artist, writer, performer, musician, sculptor, poet or painter?
Are you worried about the climate and nature crises?
Would you like to meet up with other local creatives to discuss opportunities for collaboration and creative resistance?

As the New Year gets underway, a new arts collective is emerging. An arts collective that will bring artists across different mediums together to share ideas, opportunities and actions. Join them for our first ever meeting, at the Print Room in Wigtown. The meeting is free and open to all arts and creative practictioners from across Galloway. Donations on the day welcome to help with cost of room hire. Please register in advance using the Eventbrite link so they know likely attendance for refreshments.

Galloway Arts Collective has emerged from discussions held at meetings of Machars and Cree Valley Climate Action Network https://mac-can.org.uk/
