Tue 7 April 2026 – Work in Theatre Day: an introduction to writing, directing and creating work for the stage. The workshop will include creative writing and devising tasks, performing, directing and an insight into producing live entertainment.
Wed 8 April 2026 – Work in Costume & Design Day: take part in practical workshops to learn about costume design, construction, wardrobe and visual storytelling. Learn from our in-house team about what it takes to work in wardrobe, hair and make-up.
Thu 9 April 2026 – Work in Tech Day: see behind-the-scenes of Glasgow’s iconic King’s Theatre and learn about lighting, sound, stage management and technical production.
The course will take place in the Education Rooms at Theatre Royal each day from 10am – 4pm with some sessions at The King’s Theatre.
