Workshop participants will look at ideas and inspiration and how to translate these into workable formats. They will analyse the process of theatre and how a writer fits into the team. They’ll also discuss characterisation and casting with the specific techniques required for producing scripts that translate well to the stage. There will be time to write in the workshops, encouragement to continue experimenting between each weekly session, and supportive feedback to develop and explore. The group will read, listen and share together to create writing of a quality standard for promoting to others.
