What should a network for freelancers and organisations working in the young audience sector in Scotland look like?
The Young Audience Group* is carrying out research across Scotland to explore what a new network/membership collective of freelancers and organisations who work in the young audience sector might look like.
The workshops are taking place across Scotland and online:
Eden Court, Inverness – Fri 8 September 2023, 2pm – 5.30pm
Online workshop for disabled practitioners (hosted on Zoom) – Mon 11 September 2023, 10am – 1pm
CatStrand, New Galloway – Wed 13 September 2023, 9.30am – 1pm
Festival Theatre, Edinburgh – Fri 15 September 2023, 10am – 1.30pm (session full)
Aberdeen Performing Arts – Wed 20 September 2023, 2pm – 5.30pm
This workshop is open to both freelancers and employed individuals at any stage of their career, who are connected to making work for babies, children and young people, including creatives, programmers, backstage and technical staff, producers, and youth theatre workers.
The workshop will be facilitated by Victoria Beesley, using the Lego® Serious Play® methodology and will be a creative and playful session. A financial contribution is available for freelancers interested in attending workshops.
