Step into the world of George Orwell’s Animal Farm and discover the power of performance. This 10 week acting course, designed for secondary students (S4-S6), uses Orwell’s powerful novella as a stimulus to explore the themes of power, corruption, and revolution through the art of acting. Students will build their acting skills, explore the dynamics of complex characters, and develop a deeper understanding of the social issues at the heart of this iconic story – all while having fun on stage.
As part of RCS’ Drama Company, you’ll work closely with your peers to bring this classic story to life on stage, fostering teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking along the way. By the end of the program, you’ll not only enhance your acting abilities but also gain a richer understanding of the powerful messages within the text.
