Youth theatre is for everyone! But how do we make it accessible to everyone? Join us for a Swap Shop to share and discuss new ideas.

In the context of an on-going cost of living crisis, how can youth theatres continue to provide creative opportunities for diverse audiences and much needed support? Youth theatre practitioners and managers are invited to this Swap Shop to share ideas for how we can lower financial barriers while still keeping our own organisations moving forward.

To kick us off, we will hear from Toonspeak, the youth arts organisation with a mission to transform lives through creativity, by providing free to access opportunities and workshops for children and young people in and around Glasgow. Toonspeak will be giving us some insight into how they keep their programme free to participants while maintaining a vibrant and sustainable, youth-led arts organisation.

This is our first Swap Shop of the season. Come prepared to share, discuss, and try out new ideas in a supportive and friendly environment.
