Bursaries: YTAS Sector Training Programme

What: Bursaries are available to any YTAS Member who requires financial support in order to attend one of our training courses, and will cover any fees associated with the training.
Status: Closed for applications

Thanks to funding from Creative Scotland, the Gannochy Trust, the Macrobert Trust, the Foyle Foundation, the People’s Postcode Trust, the Stafford Trust, the Hugh Fraser Foundation, and the JTH Charitable Trust, we are delighted to be able to offer bursary places on our current sector training programme.

Bursaries are available to any YTAS Member who requires financial support in order to attend one of our training courses, and will cover any fees associated with the training.

What does the bursary provide?

The bursary will cover your attendance fees, providing you with a funded place for the training session. We will also consider applications for childcare, travel and accommodation where appropriate. Access bursaries are provided thanks to successful fundraising which means that the amount of funds we have to give will vary from month to month and spaces will be first come, first served.

Who can apply?

Bursaries are available to any YTAS Member. If you are not yet a YTAS member and would like to become one please visit our Membership page.

How do I apply?

If you would like to apply for a YTAS Sector Training Programme Bursary, please complete the Microsoft Form below, ideally three weeks ahead of the event you would like to attend.

How will I know if I have been successful? What happens next?

We expect to be able to let you know the outcome of your application within two weeks of submission. Once you have submitted your application form a member of the YTAS team will contact you to discuss the details of your application and/or obtain any further information required. If your application is successful, we will then book you into the session(s) requested and you will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need ahead of the event.
