Work as part of the Aberdeen City Council Creative Learning team to deliver a range of initiatives, projects and activities linked to local and national priorities.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
• Degree or equivalent in an art form, cultural or arts management. In this instance, equivalent would be the demonstration of progression and success in delivery in these fields
• PVG Membership for Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults or willingness to obtain prior to a formal offer of employment being made
The postholder is able to demonstrate:
• Planning and delivering arts-based projects/activities which make a significant contribution to the learning and development of individuals and groups
• Knowledge and experience of artform/s within a professional context
• Working within a range of arts settings
• Gathering evidence to contribute to evaluation of arts-based work
• Time management and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to reflectively analyse situations and challenges and come up with creative solutions
• Assisting and supporting service users
• Ensuring health and safety of staff and service users
• Partnership and collaborative working
• Presentations skills and delivery of outreach to range of partners/customers
• Training and/or supporting groups or individuals
• Use of new technologies in service delivery
Pay £14,071 – £16,981 per year
