Aberdeen City Council are seeking the views of residents and visitors to inform their new cultural investment priorities and objectives.
Aberdeen City Council recognises the intrinsic value of the arts as well as the benefits a strong cultural sector brings by improving the wellbeing of citizens, attracting tourism, and encouraging businesses to trade in the city.
Culture is and should be, for everyone. It enriches and benefits people to participate in cultural activities for their health and wellbeing, instils a sense of pride in community, and enhances understanding of their own or other cultures. However, the opportunity to access and enjoy culture can vary for many reasons.
It is their ambition through the Culture Investment Programme to make culture relevant and accessible to everybody in Aberdeen, regardless of age, background or postcode.
To deliver on that ambition they are seeking the views of Aberdeen residents to inform the priorities, aims and objectives of the Council’s new Culture Investment Programme.
The survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
