At the Root Arts CIC is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Freelance Drama Workshop Leader to join their growing team.
Hours: Wednesdays, 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Location: Mosswood Community Centre, Livingston
Rate of Pay: £18 per hour (starting rate) / £54 per shift
About the Role: You will deliver engaging, inclusive and creative drama workshops to two age groups:
* 4–8 years
* 12–16 years
Workshops focus on building confidence, creativity, performance skills and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience in performing arts, drama, theatre or related disciplines
* Experience working with children and young people
* A current PVG Scheme Membership (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong communication and group facilitation skills
* Reliable, enthusiastic and passionate about the arts
Desirable:
* Experience leading drama workshops
* Experience in musical theatre, directing or youth theatre
* First Aid qualification
