At the Root Arts CIC is proud to announce their Musical in a Week for Summer 2026 is Frozen Kids. This opportunity is of 5-17 year olds.

Performances will be on Fri 17 July 2026, 7pm & Sat 18 July 2026, 2pm at the Canon Hoban Hall in Broxburn. Rehearsals will be 10am-4pm daily from Mon 13 July – Fri 17 July 2026. 

Applications for auditions close on Sun 29 March 2026 at 5pm with auditions being on Sat 19 April, 10am-4pm OR Sun 20 April, 10am-4pm. They are capping audition applications at 50 and as soon as they reach this number, applications will close. After applications close, you will be allocated an audition time but should be fully available the whole weekend as callbacks will be on the Sunday.

Sun 3 May, 10am-4pm – Read Through & Singing Rehearsal

Sun 7 June, 10am-4pm – Dance Rehearsal, Headshots & Costume

FEES
There is an £12 audition fee that must be paid via bank transfer after this application (full information available on At the Root Arts CIC form). Please use your child’s name as reference alongside FROZEN. So it should be, for example, SarahFROZEN.  There is also a £12 fee for both Sunday dates which can be paid via cash on the day or via bank transfer before with reference as, for example, SarahREHEARSE. There is a costume fee of £40 per person. Your child will keep their costume after the show. This should be paid as, for example, SarahCOSTUME. For the entire week, the fee is £140. This should be paid via bank transfer before 30th June. If you would like to pay all above the total cost is £204. This can be paid via bank transfer with, for example, SarahALL.
